I read somewhere that couples that have everything should register for “nice to have” items. Let’s see, it might be nice to have the following:

1. A fully funded honeymoon
2. Mortgage free living for at least a year
3. A butler and maid
4. A driver
5. Six month paid vacation

Where can we register for these “nice to have” items?

Is this cool or tacky?

Here’s the deal, with regard to the reception; we can secure the entire facility if we committ to 200 guests. On the surface this seems like a great idea. You don’t have to worry about feeling cramped. None of your guests will wander into the wrong party. All of the parking spots are for your guests. Two bars. Bigger dance floor. But let’s face it, more money.

One of our original problems was deciding how to skinny down the invite list so we could keep costs down. Well thanks to the best Daddy in the world, this is no longer an issue. Now I want to make sure I don’t waste my Daddy’s money, so now I’m trying to figure out how to ensure everybody shows up.

This is where the “Save the Date” items come in. I want to make sure people know that my big day is coming up. More importantly, I want to make sure they plan to be in attendance.
