I slept with Tiger Woods

I am totally against cheating on your spouse. Let me be clear, when I get married I don’t want my spouse to cheat on me. If my neighbor cheats on his wife, I’ll feel bad for her. I’ll feel bad, but at the heart of the matter, it won’t personally have any affect on me.
I won’t care that my neighbor cheated on his wife and I don’t care that Tiger Woods cheated on his wife. That’s a private matter…has anything else happened on the world or is this Tiger Woods scandal the only thing news worthy?

I understand that you believe this is a private issue, but every action we make has impacts on others. When anyone, especially someone as connected and popular as Tiger, cheats on a spouse others are impacted. An unfaithful spouse will impact their parents, children, siblings, friends and all of the people those folks will interact with, and all of those people those people will interact with. It is an inevitable ripple effect. Perhaps those as the periphery don’t realize the impact, but something changes.
*I do agree that the media was and is talking about this issue too much.
