The best Christmas gift ever!

Yippee!!! Today I received the best Christmas gift ever. I got a job offer today making the same amount that I was making at Revol. I am so happy and grateful to God. The time that I spent away from working has allowed me the time to build a relationship with the man that I plan to spend the rest of my life with.
It has also allowed me to just be free. There’s something to be said for sleeping in. It’s great but I’m ready to once again join the ratrace. I will soon be getting a steady paycheck. Let me tell you that it’s stressful wondering how you’re going to pay all the bills with the money provided by unemployment insurance. As my 8 year old niece put it “now you can keep your house”. Out of the mouth of babes, but she’s right…

I am so happy, it’s exhausting looking for a job. The job is in Arkon, OH which is not too far from me. I was hoping that I would not have to end up moving and thankfully I don’t have to. God is truly good!
Oh okay. Akron. I’m on the west coast, so I have no frame of reference for those areas. I just know that finding a job in the Detroit area is like trying to find a leprechaun’s treasure.
But, congrats again because it’s tough no matter where you look!
Hey Tiff, congrats on your new job. I didn’t know that you were out of a job until I read your blog. You know I know all about what you went through. Looking for a job is no fun. I’m glad that you weren’t out there for too long. God is good indeed!
