We’re only days away from Thanksgiving and I’m starting to get the jitters. Eros and I will be splitting Thanksgiving between his folks and mine. Eros has met my family so I’m cool on that front. I have no worries about the dinner at my sister’s house. I suppose my only concern is whether or not he’ll think we’re dorky…we like to play games and his family doesn’t do that.

I am however worried (that may be too strong of a feeling) about dinner at his brother’s house. I’ve met Eros’ mother and sister on several occasions and I think that we get along fairly well. I might even go so far as to say that they like me. I hear that there are going to be about 20 folks at his brother’s house. So that’s about 17 new people for me to meet…and wonder if they think I’m weird.

Most people who have met me will tell you that I’m different…which is good and bad. Good in that I’m my own person, bad in that not everyone can get with that.
