I just recently relocated to be with Gina. We were 5 hours away so compared to your 3 hours, it was a lot longer. But I knew deep down this was the real thing and I made the move to be with her. I was in her city almost every weekend so I was like WTH am I waiting for. The thing I would say is make sure he really wants to make the move. It is one thing to say it in conversation like us. but it was a whole different thing to just do it. Like in this economy it was hard for me to find another job in a different city. Once I actually moved there did the interviews adn opportunities start to come. Not saying it will be that way for you guys but it is something to think about. That is why since you say it is easier for him to move, that he is ready to give up his life he has established there. Okay first let me say I am all in favor of this.
