Man verus Baby

I was doing a little research for a future post when I ran across the quotes below from SATC (Sex and The City – for you non-fans).
Charlotte : Why should you give up having a baby for a man you hardly know?
Carrie : Why should I give up a man for a baby I hardly know I want?
What are your thoughts on these questions? I am not in this situation, but I think I have to side with Carrie. At least today, I go back and forth on the baby subject.

Well……..I really don’t have to give my opinion on this – you already know it. But what the heck. The answer to this question depends solely on who is answering it. It is relative. If you know what you really want or what you consider a priority in life then it should be simple to choose between the man or the baby – whatever your case may be. If you are not sure what you want, think about this: Wouldn’t it be wonderful to wake up at the age of 50 (divorced or single) and know that it is still possible to have a loving, lasting relationship if you so choose? Consider waking up at 50 only to realize that the void you may be feeling is a result of a missed opportunity to have a family. Take-a-way: Husbands/boyfriends/lovers will come and go, your blood is your blood forever. What will be your legacy?
