out and about – solo?

I’m starting to feel a bit like a loser. People are My mother is asking about my progress and I don’t have anything to report. Other people Simmy keeps insisting that I need to go out by myself. I wonder if she has noticed that I pretty much end the conversation at the mention of this idea. It’s already pathetic unfortunate that I have managed to reach 35 with no marriage prospects in sight. But I’m not going to start trolling the bars and such all by myself in the hopes that I’ll meet a man. I’m just not gonna do that, even if that means I’ll never marry!
What do you think? Is it cool for women to hang out solo?

I don’t know about this, girl…. I can see that the guys may feel uncomfortable approaching YOU if you are with a bunch of girls because they know the rest of the girls in the group are going to talk about them… lol! I have gone out all by myself before, hoping to meet some guys. Well, I didn’t meet any guys and felt like a super loser…. 
Perhaps, you should go out with one girl who is very flirtatious and outgoing, but less attractive than you… Wait… I will be perfect one for you! lol
Indeed we don’t like risking being ridiculed by your friends or by you because you’re in a group (why do women do that?), but if you’re by yourself, I’m going to think that you’re waiting for someone no matter what you tell me.
You should go out with just ONE other friend, preferably a woman, and don’t go out with a severely less attractive friend. Just go out with someone who you have fun with. Happiness is very sexy on women, and it is so RARE to see a woman out who is having a good time–no strong faces and glares or any of the other signs that you don’t want to be where you are.

It’s cool and necessary. Hanging out in groups is not good if you are trying to meet a man. Nearly every man I have met out and about has been when I was alone. men don’t want to get shot down in front of your girls.
